In Home Caregiver

Because I work in a long-term care facility, I am familiar with residents or short-term stay patients that need additional help at home following a hospital visit, a fall, or cognitive decline.

In home caregiver services run the gamut from providing transportation (whether the individual wants to go to the mall and window shop or needs to go to the doctor) to light housekeeping, companionship, and oversight services.

I know several elderly couples who benefit from in home caregiver services, which helps them maintain independence in their own homes rather than requiring them to go to assisted-living or long-term care facilities, which used to be known as nursing homes.

Shopping, meal preparation, and meal and medication oversight are also just a few of the services that in in home caregiver can offer. These services are offered for 2 to 3 hours a day to round-the-clock care. Most in home caregiver services are also available 365 days a year.

In home caregiver services enable seniors to live as independently as possible while still providing them the protection, safety, and security they need.
In home caregiver services also provide visits by registered nurses for medical care such as catheters, wound care, medication delivery, and more.

Get online and check out the number of in home caregiver services in your area. Help and support is out there!
