In Home Caregiver can Provide Dementia Care
by: Anonymous

My elderly mother is experiencing increasing cognitive decline due to Alzheimer's. She's terrified of having to go to a nursing home, but I got online and found out that in-home caregiver services also provided dementia care.

I'm home during the day, but I have a night job. I was able to find a service that provided overnight care, taking a huge burden off of my shoulders.

In Home Caregiver can Bridge the Gap
by: Angie

I had a short-term caregiver come to help my dad after he got out of the hospital following hip surgery.

She was great and made sure he stayed hydrated, ate, and even took him to his doctor's appointments on a weekly basis.

I couldn't be there all the time because of my job, but it's nice to know that short-term or long-term, in-home caregiver services can help bridge the gap.
