Siblings??? A-hahahaha!

by J Kelley

I'm an only child. I AM the chosen one. First, last and always. Forever. Period. Don't like it? Too bad - there are no choices. You just go on sucking it up until you, yourself, are physically ill. At least if you have uncooperative siblings you can take your anger and resentment out on them! (that's only child joke, by the way) Note to anyone of child-bearing age: Have NO children or at have least two or three or ten. It's an act of extreme cruelty to have only one.

I don't mean to seem insensitive, but why are you doing this if you hate it? Is someone holding a gun to your head and making you a martyr to your parent? There are choices even if you don't have millions of dollars at hand.

Try to get government help if there's no other way and you can't handle it anymore. Having more siblings would only complicate the matter anyway, I can guarantee you it wouldn't make it easier for you.
