Services for School

by Hemalatha
(Doha,Qatar)

My mom is good in art and craft, I prefer her to go to special needs school and do services for those children.

My dad is good in computer and I think he can do some administrative work for the school, both can go to the same place and come back at the same place and at the end of the day, they will feel complete.

What a Great Idea!

How old are your parents? Are they interested in doing such work? Would they be physically able to work a full day, or perhaps could they work 2 or 3 days per week? Is transportation a problem?

It is funny that you should be writing from Qatar. I was offered a year-long job there through Virginia Commonwealth University, teaching art history, more than 10 years ago. I was unable to accept because of family obligations, but my colleague who went loved it there and said the experience was wonderful.

I hope that your are able to find a rewarding activity for both of your parents because it is always better to be involved in work that is productive and satisfying.
