Elderly Drivers - No Easy Solution
by: Sue

Hello, I read your post and have the same issue...my mother has slowly (but thoroughly) dented almost every corner and now down the passenger side of her 1995 Cadillac.

All new dents or scratches I ask her about comes back with responses such as -

1) It is everyone else's fault ("someone backed into me", etc.) and/or

2) "Don't you have something better to do than go over the surface of my car with a fine tooth comb all the time?"

So, at least from the experiences I have had there is no easy solution...one day (soon) I will have to become her driver and sell the car...not looking forward to this conversation at all.
