Dad's Driving
by: Janet

If your Dad's doctor thinks he should not be driving he can notify the DMV in your state. They will issued him a letter to come in for a re-test (because he is past 80) or they may just ask him to turn in his permit. This takes the matter out of your hands and he won't suspect you had anything to do with it. We did this to my mother thinking she would be furious and she was when she got the letter but just days later it did not really matter to her because someone was taking her where ever she wanted to go. Hope this helps.
