I’m Doing it Too!!!!

I am 90 Years old and hum songs constantly. I sing songs like Daisy Daisy, The Shadow of your Smile and Younger then Springtime, Looking through the eyes of love (Ice Castles). My daughter tries to help me break the habit by saying, Mom, You are doing it again.

I stop for a minute then I start up again. I do it when I am playing bridge with my friends, it must be annoying to them, because it is annoying to me. I wish the Medical Society would come up with an answer that doesn’t mean another pill. Good luck to all that have to live with it. I hate it too.

Oh my gosh, thank you for posting the other side of the coin. It's so easy for us to be critical of actions the elderly do without even realizing how it must effect them.

I had a bad habit once and put a rubber band around my wrist. Every time I started doing it, I snapped that rubber band hard. Eventually it worked to stop me.
