Foldable Reading Glasses

Foldable reading glasses? That's what I thought, when one day my adult son came to me and showed me his new pair of glasses.

To my surprise, he started bending the earpieces, and then after folding them into short lengths, then proceeded to fold the nose piece in half! What will they come up with next?

After I played with the glasses for a minute or two (before he grabbed them back), I realized that these were perfect not only for myself (yes, I do rely on reading glasses occasionally), but it could be a huge benefit for seniors.

Being able to carry the folded glasses in a shirt or sweater pocket is a much better option than having to worry about breaking glasses, hanging them around your neck, or constantly misplacing them.

Foldable reading glasses come in a variety of styles and are easy to fold at the temples and at the bridge of the nose.

They slide into a pocket without worrying about bending frames, because the hinges are spring-loaded. Many come in flexible styles too, greatly reducing the chance of bending, twisting, or breaking them. Not only can folding reading glasses save a lot of money on replacements, but enhance convenience.

To be honest, I went out and bought two pairs for myself - one for home and one for work. Now I don't have to wear my reading glasses hanging around my neck.

Foldable Reading Glasses for My Dad Saves Time/Trouble/Money
by: Joan

My dad was forever breaking his reading glasses or sitting on them, and now that he can slide the foldable reading glasses into a shirt pocket.

I can't tell you how much money he/we have saved, and the trips to the local drugstore for a replacement!

Foldable Reading Glasses for Me and My Mother
by: Julie

Foldable reading glasses are wonderful idea, especially for us people who need them just for reading.

I don't have to worry about glass cases that take up room in my purse, or worse yet, having to wear them on top of my head when I'm not carrying my purse around! As for my Mother, having my case and her case along with other items I have to carry for her when we go out makes it a lot easier.
