Elderly Asistance - We Make a Fun Project Out of Helping Others
by: Theresa

Elderly assistance can also apply to making their home a safer and more secure environment for them.

My teenage son and I spent several weekends installing grab bars in the bathrooms of many of the elderly in our neighborhood.

The feeling of giving back to those who have given so much in their lives is priceless.

Elderly Asistance - We Help Where Ever We Can
by: Karen

My husband's Boy Scout troop is involved in the community and provides a variety of elderly assistance services to our neighborhood.

They rake yards, mow lawns, cut bushes, and sometimes even paint! It's just a matter of finding out what the elderly neighbors need and then pitching in to help.
Everyone involved finds it extremely rewarding.

Elderly Asistance
by: Cindy

Thank you for your blog. You're right in that providing assistance to the elderly ranges from the minute to life changing.

When my grandparents were alive, I used to go over to their house on the way home from school and spend an hour with them, just hanging out.

I didn't find out until after they had passed away how important my visits had been to them emotionally, mentally, and physically.
