Daughter

I am the only one taking care of Mother. I have 8 brothers and 4 sisters, yes you read that right. Not one of them helps in anyway. Not a phone call, no visit, NOTHING. I am to the point I despise all of them. I have no ill feelings toward my mother, but I can't stand the thought of my so called siblings.

They have deserted her. She was and is a GOOD mother,no abuse, fed, clothed, sent to school. All they are good for is another excuse. I don't think I will ever forgive them for the good for NOTHING way they have treated her.

no guilt

And you know what? If I were you, I wouldn't feel one tiny sliver of guilt in how you feel about your siblings. It's disgraceful what they are doing not only to her, but to you.

I hope financial arrangements have been made that they get NOTHING when the time comes. How horrible for the mother of these children to know she has been deserted in her final years. Sad.

All you can hope is that someday guilt and remorse will fall on them like an atomic bomb cloud. Just know it will never fall on you. You will see sunshine and rainbows because you have a good, right heart. Be proud of that!
