Dad is in Poor Health, but Continues to Drive

My dad is in poor health, but continues to drive around the small town he lives in currently. My sisters and I drive when we are with him. He has had about 3 wrecks in the past 18 months and has recently been diagnosed with pre-Alzheimer's. He is adamant about driving and refuses to even discuss doing something else to be able to get from place to place.
