Caregiving Seminar

I attended a caregiving seminar yesterday. It was invaluable! Aside from being with people who are in the same position as me, the information was so very helpful.

If you are a caregiver, I recommend you attend a caregiving seminar/conference. It was very inexpensive for caregivers. I did have to take a day off work, but it paid for itself in emotional and practical ways.

My Mom has recently been diagnosed with dementia of the Lewey bodies type. I learned about what that actually means, about medication to slow it down, about the different stages of dementia, how to get help, and so much more. Go, go, go! to a caregiving conference!
