Caregiver to an 84yr Old & Am Mother of Two under 5.

by Alex
(UK)

I have moved in to my mothers house to care for her, moved in to her house with my husband and my son who is one and daughter who is four, I run a business, husband works from home, carers morning and night for an hour but the rest is up to me, my mother is getting more and more dependent by the week.

She can use the loo by herself but messy accidents are more commonplace and hundreds of request for things per day, I am finding it tough and its going to get worse, I am lucky between my two little ones and my mother who falls in the night, to get 5 hours sleep. It is very frustrating and what makes it worse is I have never liked my mother (to put it mildly)!
